It saddens Me to hear this. I have always recieved top notch service at this location.
I do really enjoy this place a few times a year. I like the gift shop and the feeling of warmth. The service is predictably good and we have never had a problem with our order. Christmas is coming and this would be a safe gift card for whoever we are stuck on.
Great service. Food was a little slow coming out and portions were smaller than I expected, but overall pretty good. Store is always fun with neat gift ideas.
We had a wonderful dinner experience! It was very cozy and welcoming in the restaurant. The food was excellent, and our server Kameron made us feel right at home.
Not good for large parties. Dear Cracker Barrel, what were you thinking when you gave the softball team (party of 20) to the brand new server? We sat down at 2:00. Placed our orders at 2:20 and were served our food just after 3:00. Then it took another 30 minutes to get our tickets as we tried to rush back for our next game. Not to mention the problems with needed refills, forgotten sides and splitting the tickets correctly. PS: a party of ten sat down near us and after us but got served LONG before we did. While the actual food here was “fine†I would advise against taking large parties here.
The server was nice and we enjoyed our meal. The only problem was that the old lady at the front of the store that rings you out was VERY RUDE. We asked to split the ticket two different ways and she had an attitude about it. Then she was very rude talking to during the transaction. If you don’t like your job, then quit. Be nice to the customer. It’s not my fault you’re 60+ years old working at Cracker Barrel.🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸
This place provides great service and enjoyable food. One of the best restaurant around town. The drinks and food arrived quick and the rates were economical. Highly recommended.
I brought my daughter here for the first time. She really enjoyed it. Our server, Cody, was really nice and took care of my difficult order with no problem. My daughter had the grilled chicken salad with ranch. She said the chicken was nicely seasoned and veggies were fresh. I had one pecan pancake with peaches, one scrambled egg, one order of bacon and a side of fresh fruit. We had a good time shopping in the country store while we waited to be seated. We'll be back!
The food was good. The server was very attentive. And of course, while waiting for a table, there is the store to browse for entertainment.
First time returning to eat ing in & service was slow and food was wrong, had to keep asking for for stuff, all the while mangers stood in front and never asked how things were. We won't be returning for a while. She did not earn her tip, we did not leave one
This particular location has been around for quite a few years but the managers seem to do a good job keeping the building clean and fresh looking. The wait staff are always kind and knowledgeable. I'm happy that the menu has been reconstructed making navigating the wonderful choices much easier. All in all always a great choice for comfort food.
Usually the food is,excellent, but today wasn't! The turnip greens were tough and the pinto beans were not fresh. Very dissappointing from one of me favorite food places. My husband enjoyed his food fine.
This was my first meal at Cracker Barrel and it was great. Our server, Carol, was very good and took very good care of us. The food was very flavorful and even looked good. We will be going back.
Food is good, as always, but staff was short-handed. To their credit, they had been cross-trained to do jobs other than their own and were therefore able to make it work. Rating is due to delays . We'll be back. ðŸ‘
Tried this spot once with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the great ambience and delightful dishes and drinks. Keep it up.
They are always friendly. Usually fast service. Good family restaurant. The turkey dinner was good
Parking lot was full, but several empty tables inside. Service was okay, not great. We were a large group and the server was new and slightly inexperienced. Food took longer than normal to arrive and some dishes were lukewarm at best. Overall it was a fair meal but have had better experiences at other Cracker Barrels. Many times a go-to place when traveling with kids as everyone can pick their choices
We normally love going here, but last night they had problems. It took a long time for the food to arrive, they gave us the wrong fish, and the bacon on my chicken blt was burnt. The waitress seemed to be overwhelmed, I never got a refill on my water nor did I ever get the ketchup. I hope this was a one time thing.
Great place to eat. They also serve breakfast all day which is why I usually come here. The staff is quick and well mannered. The food is great and the small shop is nice to look around while waiting to be seated.
First time here. Nice country store and restaurant atmosphere. The food looked and tasted home cooked. The kids Mac and cheese tastes almost like I made it! The bacon wasn’t the most desirable, but the pecan pancakes were the best I’ve ever had!
Placed a curbside pickup order. When I got there they said they were running over 2 hours behind. No notice and they accepted that order time. I told them to refund the order. I won't try to support this business if that's the best they can do. I live 30 minutes away and wasted not only my time and gas but never even warned me that they were that behind. Ridiculous.
I love Cracker Barrel. It was really busy this past Saturday. I was with three other adults and three children. We ordered lunch. I ordered a chicken pot pie. We waited 25 minutes or so for our food. A little slow, even for Cracker Barrel. Everyone in our group got their food but me. It was going to be another 25 minutes for my chicken pot pie. No communication from the cook to the server to come back and tell me that when the order was put in. Instead, he told me when everyone else was starting to eat. I got a menu and reordered roast beef. He brought it fast, but everyone else in my party was at least half finished with their meal when I was just being served. It tasted good. Lots of items in the gift shop but barely enough room to walk between it. Bathroom was clean and in working order.
As always, very nice and polite staff, and the server made sure we had everything before she left.
Cracker Barrel is always a favorite, but the Lee's Summit location is The Best I've been to. Even though they're all good I always compare every location to this one and none other has compared. My least favorite was, Phoenix, AZ. That location didn't have the heart of a Cracker Barrel, sadly.
Special tonight was cod and by 6 o'clock they were out of Cole slaw and baked beans what a joke. Service was good. Management needs to make sure dinner prep is prepared for a full evening of guests.
Great choice every time. Love the family atmosphere. Service is usually good and the food is always good.
If you call in an order, prepare to never get it or to wait hours after the time you specify... this has happened TWICE.. After the first time we thought maybe they were just having a bad day... nope... every day is a bad day there for ordering to go. Went yesterday to pick up a “family basketâ€.. people were all over their store area waiting. One guy with door dash said he had been there since 1:00, waiting (it was 3:00). After numerous times of everyone asking how much longer-I asked as well. Even that took a long time to get an answer. Once I did get an answer, I was told, hours. To leave and come back later, which didn’t work for me. VERY UNORGANIZED and unprofessional. We love crackerbarrel, but will only eat in from now on.
Service took a while. Food was good. Friday fish fry was delicious and the turnip greens was surprisingly good.
My family typically leave Cracker Barrel satisfied. This time we came up against a manager's poor preparation. It's a Wednesday early evening and the restaurant is maybe a third to half full. The wait staff was good and we had no issues there. The problem was that the restaurant ran out of many menu items. First, out of chicken pot pie. Changed order to chicken and dumplings. 5 minutes later we're told they were out and we'd have to wait an additional 25 minutes. 15 minutes later we're told that we couldn't get our order of meat loaf. You guessed it, because they ran out. No reason why. We were comped for that meal, but the manager did not bother to come to our table to apologize. I didn't see the manager at all to check on costumers. I'm used to better from CB.
Acceptable service, terrible food.First time back in a decade. Turns out I wasn't really missing much. The grits were an inedible goop, would rather eat toothpaste. Biscuits were bland, which I didn't think any serious restaurant could get wrong. Fried apples were lukewarm and tasted like an apple factory. However the most egregious sin by far for a country homestyle establishment, bad gravy. Seriously? Dull, thick, lumpy, cold, gravy. Breakfast gravy is meant to be rich, smooth, savory, and full of flavor. I can use none of those words to describe this gravy. This gravy reminds me of the last breakfast a mother makes before she abandons her family to become a professional gold digger.
Today was not a good day to eat there waited 20 minutes for food only to be told that they were out of today's special which was the pork chops. Assured by manager that they had them and would be ready in 10 minutes in addition to the already 20 minute wait time. Food was just OK. Management never offered to discount meal or offer a free beverage. It will be a while if and when I go back. I ordered turnip greens and got beans and waited another 10 minutes to get to the greens!!!
Great food , very good service. Be prepared to wait although they do have a nice gift shop to spend that time in.
Ate here at an off-peak time while on vacation. Very slow in there, yet our waitress seemed disorganized, or perhaps unmotivated. Slow with refills, items we asked for, etc. Food was somewhat cold on the chicken and dumplings and meatloaf. Breakfast items were hot and good though. Excellent busy Father's Day Lunch. They were all hands on deck with super service and table turnaround. As usual all of our six dishes were delicious chosen from impressive breakfast and lunch menus. We were told a 40 minutes wait and were called at 25 minutes.
I never have been here before. Going in was just so nifty. Than the food let me tell you, it was amazing. Friendly staff. And great hot food. Just satisfied all around. Heads up go pay at the counter. I didn't know you don't pay at your table.
Just like I remembered takes me back to a different time when everything seemed a little better the food the service the people everything was just great worth the money plus and awesome gift shop where you can find something for just about ever one so I say stop in and find out for your self
Old fashion environment and good food.Country boy Breakfast amaizing
One of my go-to places for tasty, healthy food. I love getting their salad, baked potatoes and marinated grilled chicken tenders. The coca cola cake is also one of my favorite guilty pleasures.
Amazing service, great meal and atmosphere! So good kept going back!
The store and restaurant are the best. I always have a hard time not purchasing something in the store and the food, I just love
My son loved the Southern chicken...Southern chicken is crispy, thick coating. We ordered the picnic box "to go." Ordered On web page, by my phone. Went picked up. Easy to feed 5 including Grandparents. Comes with two sides. Had left overs.
For the situation we handed these folks they handled it excellently. We came in as a party of 10 with no warning in the middle of the lunch hour. Within 5 minutes we were seated, our orders were taken fast, and everyone's food came out right - almost. When we notified our waitress that some biscuits had been missed she brought out 2 heaping plates of biscuits, corn bread, and jams. Drink refills were kept on top of. Not a bad visit!
The there is meh at best. The sawmill gravy is super bland but fortunately salt and pepper really jazzed it up and added flavor. The French toast was ok.
Our waitresses new and lovely young gal with a big smile and seemed to enjoy her job. Very attentive and worked hard. Not sure what the problem was in the kitchen. Food took a long time for us and all tables around us. Seemed unusual for the many CB restaurants we've eaten at. Fortunately we had checked into our hotel and was not in a rush to get back on the road. Also first time chicken fried chicken was over cooked and dry. Dining room, store, porch, bathrooms and parking lot were tidy. If we are back this way, will give a second chance. Love country cooking!
Jada was a horrible waitress, the most forgetful and when you remind her the items, she comes to serve your forgotten items with an attitude and slammed down the items. The place was a wreck, no staff cleaned up their tables and the place smelled funky. The manager didn't appear after being asked for. Thankfully the cook came to work today cause they rocked that fried chicken like it was no one'ss business. Redemption in fried Chicken- 1 Star
